Goldman Sachs has promoted senior sales executive Stacy Bash-Polley to the role of head of client relationship management and strategy in the Americas, according to a memo obtained by Family Wealth Report.
Goldman Sachs has promoted senior sales executive Stacy Bash-Polley to the role of head of client relationship management and strategy in the Americas, according to a memo obtained by Family Wealth Report.
In the newly-created position, Bash-Polley will oversee the firm’s institutional client group, working with senior executives across the bank to help strengthen ties to money managers, hedge funds and other institutional client. A spokesperson for the firm confirmed the memo's contents.
Bash-Polley is currently head of sales for US interest rate, currency, mortgage and emerging market products. She joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 and became managing director in 2002. In 2004, she became partner.
She will report to global head of fixed income, currency and commodity sales, Tom Cornacchia, and to co-head of the firm’s equities-trading business, Paul Russo.
"Against a backdrop of regulatory, market structure and technology changes, the business and competitive landscape continues to evolve for all financial market participants, presenting opportunities for us to increase the division's presence with our clients," the memo said.
