Global Law Firm Hires New CFO

The private client law firm has appointed a new CFO, after its previous one was promoted to COO.
Law firm Butler Snow has appointed Mandy Pope as its new chief financial officer. Pope will replace Rance Sapen, who was recently promoted to chief operating officer.
Pope has more than two decades of executive leadership and management experience in various sectors. Most recently, she served as COO of Mississippi Today, where she played a key role in the launch of the startup non-profit digital news site for the state, and was responsible for the development and implementation of systems and processes related to all significant aspects of infrastructure.
Prior to Mississippi Today, Pope worked for 16 years in senior leadership for a NYSE real estate investment trust, where she served as executive vice president and chief accounting officer.
“Mandy’s extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, corporate financing and strong financial oversight make her a valuable member of our leadership team as we continue to move forward in the marketplace,” said Donald Clark, Jr, chairman of Butler Snow.
Butler Snow is a law firm, which offers private client services, with more than 350 attorneys and advisors collaborating across a network of 25 offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
