Glenmede Names New Chairman

A new chair takes the helm at the wealth management firm.

Glenmede, the US-based wealth management firm with $37 billion of AuM, has elected senior legal figure Rhonda R Cohen as chairman of The Glenmede Trust Company’s board of directors. Cohen joined in 2008 and serves on its Compensation Committee and Relationship Oversight Committee.

Cohen succeeds Joseph N Pew, IV, who passed away on June 10, 2017. Dr Pew joined the board in 1988 and became chairman in 2004.

An active member of the Philadelphia community, Cohen practiced law for 20 years and was a former partner in Ballard Spahr LLP, one of the largest law firms in Philadelphia. She holds board positions with several organizations, including Delaware Valley Friends School, The Christopher Ludwick Foundation, Visit Philadelphia, ESF Dream Camp Foundation and Swarthmore College. In addition, she currently serves as campaign co-chair for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

The Glenmede Trust Company is headquartered in Philadelphia with offices in Ohio, Delaware, New Jersey, New York City and Washington DC.
