Glenmede Adds Pair To New York Team

The US investment and wealth management firm has welcomed two new faces to its New York team.
Glenmede has appointed Christopher Long as business development director and Christopher Tiano as client development associate, newly-created roles within its New York City office.
Long most recently served as president and chief executive of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. Before that, he was managing director of Perella Weinberg Partners’ Agility outsourced chief investment office platform; CEO of Endowment Capital Group, a hedge fund advisor that managed money for large endowment clients; and COO and head of sales for Friess Associates, currently sub-advisor to the Brandywine Funds. He has also served as a trustee of various foundations and endowed charities such as the Library of Congress Trust Fund Board and the Delaware Art Museum.
Tiano joins from Basalt Infrastructure Partners. Previously, he worked in investment banking at DNB Markets and D.A. Davidson & Co.
“The important additions of both Long and Tiano will allow New York-based relationship managers to focus continued attention on providing excellent wealth advice for existing Glenmede clients while prudently growing the number of families and institutions Glenmede currently serves,” said Lee Miller, regional director of Glenmede’s New York office.
Philadelphia-headquartered Glenmede manages $33 billion in assets for high net worth individuals, families, family offices, endowment, foundations and institutional clients.
