Georgia Wealth Advisor Targets Young Professionals

KAMSouth is rolling out a new financial planning service for individuals between the ages of 30 and 40.
KAMSouth, a wealth advisor based in Atlanta, GA, is launching a fee-only financial planning service to help young professionals navigate the challenges and opportunities they may face with building their financial future.
The service – which costs $600.00 per year – will be branded as “YP Elite Wealth Planning” and aimed at young professionals between the ages of 30 and 40 living in the Buckhead, Atlanta, area.
It will be led by Christian Koch, president of KAMSouth, and will focus on investment selection within a company’s 401k plan, how to position assets for another financial crisis, how to achieve dual financial goals, ROTH IRAs and why income taxes matter for retirement savings.
In a similar move in February, Indiana-based Midwest Wealth Management launched YP Access Program, designed to “bridge the gap” between the beginning work life of high-trajectory professionals and the opportunity cost that’s spent building a long-term relationship with a financial advisor.
Meanwhile, last September NextGen Wealth opened its doors in Kansas City to tap the US's growing cohort of young, successful business owners and entrepreneurs (click here for an interview with the firm).
