The arrival of the manager coincides with Genesis Wealth's expansion into Chicago's North Shore, the firm said.

Genesis Wealth, a wealth management platform, has appointed former JP Morgan Securities figure and veteran advisor Alan Feutz (main picture). At his previous firm, Feutz oversaw $725 million in client money.

Feutz, whose new role is partner and wealth advisor, is based in Deerfield, Illinois. 

In total, Feutz has 26 years’ industry experience and services high net worth and ultra-HNW clients.

Operating as an RIA, Genesis Wealth was founded in January 2024 and officially launched under its brand in July last year. Its advisors service more than $3 billion of client assets.

Feutz’s arrival also marks Genesis Wealth's expansion into Chicago's North Shore. He will operate from Genesis Wealth's newly-opened North Shore office in Deerfield. It has about 10,000 square feet of space, accommodating more than 20 advisors and staff. Besides Feutz, the office is also home to founding advisor Joel Feiger and managing director Jack Kennedy.
