GAMCO Investors Reorganizes Sales, Marketing Leadership

The appointees will provide equity-based solutions for GAMCO's private wealth, institutional and mutual fund businesses.

New York-based GAMCO Investors has made several senior appointments in a move aimed at re-organizing and coordinating its focus on sales and marketing initiatives within various investment segments.

The appointments are as follows:

  • Regina Pitaro, a managing director, was named as head of institutional marketing, where she will continue to coordinate the firm's work with consultants and plan sponsors;
  • Christopher Desmarais, also a managing director, continues in his role as director of SRI for GAMCO's mutual fund and separate account businesses;
  • Daniel Miller, also a managing director, has been named executive vice president of marketing for the firm's mutual funds business; and
  • Paul Swirbul, a senior vice president, has been named as head of private wealth management marketing for GAMCO's high net worth business.

As of March 31, 2015, GAMCO Investors had $46.5 billion in assets under management.
