Foundation Source Adds Duo To Philanthropy Team

Foundation Source, the US-based provider of support services for private foundations, has appointed two former Wachovia senior executives and philanthropy specialists to its management lineup.

Carol Yonack and Tony Rodriguez join as regional managing directors to the national business development team, reporting to H King McGlaughon, chief executive of Foundation Source. The duo have worked before with McGlaughon, who used to be chief philanthropic officer at Wells Fargo Philanthropic Services and managing executive for the nonprofit and philanthropic services unit of Wachovia.

Yonack will be based in Dallas, where she will oversee the company's outreach initiatives to philanthropists in Texas and the professionals working with them. She most recently served as a regional philanthropic consultant and senior vice president at Wells Fargo/Wachovia.

Rodriguez will be based in Bonita Springs, where he will lead the firm's outreach programs. Like Yonack, he used to serve as a regional philanthropic consultant and SVP at Wells.

Foundation Source advises around 1,000 private foundations across the US, ranging from $250,000 to $250 million in assets.
