Forum Financial Management is merging with Pinnacle Wealth Management, creating a new advisory firm with about $500 million in assets.

The new firm, Forum Financial, will be based in Lombard, Illinois, with offices in Skokie, Illinois, and Richmond, Virginia. The deal closed yesterday and clients are being notified, the companies said.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
