Former Envestnet CEO Resurfaces In New Role

One of the more prominent figures in US wealth management, Bill Crager has a new gig.
Bill Crager, Envestnet co-founder and its CEO from 2019 to 2024, has resurfaced on the board of directors at Fiduciary Exchange.
The firm, which was founded eight years ago, is a platform, it says, for “revolutionizing the delivery of insurance solutions in wealth management.”
Starting Envestnet in 1999, Crager (pictured) has become a high-profile figure in North American wealth management. Our US correspondent Charles Paikert reflected on developments at that firm here.
"Bill's vision and leadership in our industry are unparalleled," Paul Hondros, chairman of the FIDx board of directors, said. "His insights and expertise will be invaluable as FIDx continues its mission to transform the way insurance solutions are delivered. Bill was present at the creation of FIDx and helped shape our long-term strategy while providing strategic and tactical mentorship to our team since the beginning."
