Former Co-Head At Withers Consulting Group Sets Up National Practice

Amelia Renkert-Thomas, formerly of Withers Consulting Group, has established Renkert Thomas Consulting, a national family advisory practice.
Amelia Renkert-Thomas, previously joint managing director at Withers Consulting Group in the US, has launched her own national consultancy focused on family enterprise strategy, ownership and governance.
Renkert Thomas Consulting addresses the challenges faced by wealthy families such as running a business, managing joint assets and succession planning. It also provides strategic consulting services, family meeting facilitation and training for families, family businesses and family advisors.
Renkert-Thomas joined WCG - which works with family businesses, family offices and entrepreneurs - in April 2013 and will maintain a relationship with the company to work on governance design for joint clients, as well as other projects.
Ken McCracken served as joint managing director of WCG, based in the UK, but left in December 2015 to become head of family business consulting at KPMG UK.
Going forward, Withers told Family Wealth Report that it will be working with Holly Isdale in the US, founder of Wealthaven, to further develop WCG and its capabilities while also working with senior partners globally with expertise in this field.
Outside of the US, these partners are Penny Williams (UK), Katie Graves (Hong Kong) and Michael Parets (Switzerland). In the US, there is also David Guin, a consultant.
