The Georgia-based firm has added a new personal wealth advisor.

Buckhead Investment Partners has hired J P Scott as a personal wealth advisor.

Scott previously spent ten years as a vice president and financial consultant at Charles Schwab & Co. Before that, he was a financial advisor at Cole Wealth Management and American Express Financial Advisors.

Last month, Michael Brocker left GenSpring and joined Buckhead as a personal wealth advisor and financial planner.

Buckhead Investment Partners is based in Atlanta, GA. The firm's RIA subsidiary is called Buckhead Wealth Advisors.
