Former BNY Mellon AM Head Joins Jupiter Board

Jon Little, the former vice chairman of BNY Mellon Asset Management, has resurfaced at Jupiter Asset Management, where he has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director.

Little left BNY Mellon Asset Management in the summer of 2010, going on to launch Northill Capital, a London-based private investment business, on behalf of Kedge Capital, the family office of the Bertarelli biotech dynasty.

In other group news, this summer Jupiter boosted its fund range with the launch of a new energy fund aimed at capitalising on the growing demand for energy in the emerging markets. While the fund invests in oil, gas and coal-related companies, it is also mandated to invest in new technologies such as renewables and fuel cells, despite not being an environmentally-themed strategy.
