Florida Team Joins Raymond James

The team joining in Florida had previously overseen $194 million in client money.

Raymond James has brought over financial advisors James Ducharme and Michael C Rowland, to its employee advisor broker/dealer. They are based in Melbourne, Florida. 

The pair come from UBS Financial Services, where they previously managed $194 million in client assets. They join the Melbourne office managed by Brent Peoples, which is part of the Central Florida Complex led by Steve Fricke. They are joined by practice business manager Michael J Rowland and senior registered client services associates Jackie Bartosz and Sherry Staley. The team operates as Rowland-Ducharme Wealth Management Group of Raymond James.

Ducharme has been in the financial services industry for over 26 years. Prior to joining Raymond James, he worked for UBS for 23 years. Ducharme began his financial career in 1993 at Dean Witter Reynolds, and holds a BSBA in finance from the University of Central Florida. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ certification.

Rowland began his financial services career at Raymond James in 2008 before moving to join a relative’s practice at UBS in 2010. Rowland is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ certification.

Michael J Rowland has been in the financial services industry for 40 years. Previously, he worked for UBS for 26 years. Earlier, he held positions at Lehman Brothers, Dean Witter Reynolds and E F Hutton & Company. He is a graduate of Eastern Florida State College and also holds the Certified Financial Planner™ certification.
