New Office
Florida Hybrid RIA Sets Up Shop In Arizona

Independent Financial Partners has unveiled a new regional location, and said the move is the first of many as it widens its footprint across the US.
Independent Financial Partners, a hybrid RIA based in Tampa, FL, has opened a new office in Phoenix, AZ – the first of several regional offices the company said it plans to roll out across the country in the near future.
The new office will be staffed by internal IFP employees (office manager, compliance, transitions, advisor relations, etc.), as well as financial advisors and their employees.
IFP said it selected Phoenix for its first regional office given the already significant number of current and prospective IFP advisors in the southwest US, as well as the fact that Phoenix, much like Tampa, is a popular retirement destination.
"We are a growing financial services firm with a national presence, but we want to maintain the personal relationships we have with each of our advisors as we grow," said chief executive at IFP, William Hamm. "We believe the best way to do that is by expanding our physical presence into the regions in which our advisors work."
In June last year, IFP hired Ned Van Riper as director of recruiting to expand its advisor network.
