Flagstar Puts All Pieces Of Private Bank Jigsaw Together

The organization has set out the steps it has taken to get its private bank and wealth management business up and running.
Flagstar Private Bank and Wealth Management has appointed regional heads for its Southeast and West Coast markets. The bank, a division of New York-listed Flagstar Bank, has also launched an insurance agency and a discretionary portfolio platform.
The changes complete an operating model introduced in late 2025, Flagstar said in a recent statement.
Len Moscatelli has joined as Southeast region head, based in Palm Beach, Florida and, earlier this year, Jim Denver was made West Coast region head, based in Los Angeles. Denver joined the bank in 2023, having previously worked at First Republic Bank.
The appointments complete a three-region structure spanning the Northeast, Southeast and West Coast. The bank introduced the new structure in late 2025 under Mark Pittsey, executive vice president and head of private banking and wealth, who joined Flagstar in March 2025.
Previously, Moscatelli worked at City National Bank, Citibank, First Republic Bank and HSBC.
The bank has also launched Flagstar Insurance Agency, a full-service agency for its private banking and commercial clients, led by Irene Bowers, EVP and insurance head, alongside Jesus Sanchez and Angelo Apostopoulos.
Another new service is Flagstar Guided Portfolio Solutions, a suite of discretionary managed portfolios developed by Brett Mitstifer, chief investment officer of Flagstar Private Bank.
