Fisher Investments Expands on West Coast

California-based independent investment management company Fisher Investments has opened a new office in Vancouver, Washington.

The new location increases the firm's number of offices to three, joining operations in San Mateo, California and company headquarters in Woodside, also in California.

"The pace of our expansion in recent years has been nothing short of phenomenal. Bolstered by our long-term track record and our reputation for client service, we have grown to over 1,000 employees and more than $43 billion in assets under management," said Fisher Investments co-president Steve Triplett.

"Our Vancouver location already has more than 100 employees and we hope to increase that number substantially in the near future."

The firm was first founded in 1979 as a sole proprietorship by Ken Fisher, later incorporated in the state of California in 1986, and then reorganized as a Delaware limited liability company.

Fisher Investments currently manages over $43 billion across two principal business units, Fisher Investments Institutional Group and Fisher Investments Private Client Group.
