First Republic Bank, which has been hiring at an incredible pace recently, has added Derrick Yee as a relationship manager at its Palo Alto, California office.

Yee will work with individuals, families, businesses and foundations to provide banking, investment management, trust, brokerage and real estate lending services. He joins from Bank of America, where he spent 10 years, latterly as a private client manager.

The hire forms part of the firm’s continuing expansion in the Peninsula and Silicon Valley, Katherine August-deWilde, First Republic Bank’s president and chief operating officer said. It is the latest in a long line of hires, including those of Nic Donarski and Chris Rusk in New York, which were announced only earlier this week.
