First Republic Adds Two Managing Directors From Morgan Stanley In Boston

Two managing directors from Morgan Stanley have been brought in to First Republic’s Boston, MA, office.

Two managing directors from Morgan Stanley have been appointed at First Republic’s Boston, MA, office.

As well as their directorial roles, Richard Grande and Alphonse Antonitis will serve as investment consultants for First Republic Private Wealth Management.

The appointments follow a prosperous 12 months for First Republic, having increased its assets under management by almost a third. Between January and December last year, the amount jumped from $31.3 billion to $41.6 billion (see here).

Set to help expand the number of First Republic’s wealth advisors in the Boston region, the pair were selected for their history of helping grow both families’ and individuals’ wealth across generations.

At Morgan Stanley, Grande was senior vice president and financial advisor, while Antonitis was first vice president and financial advisor.

First Republic Private Wealth Management provides wealth management solutions, including trust, investment management and brokerage services, to high net worth individuals and families, foundations, and endowments.
