Tenn. community bank network looks to experienced wealth-business executive. First Horizon Bank has lured Terry Peters away from First Charter in Charlotte, N.C., to become its director of wealth-management services in the mid-Atlantic region.

"We are excited to welcome Terry to this newly created leadership position for our wealth management team," said Terrie Spiro, First Horizon's mid-Atlantic regional president. "Terry's management skills, as well as her depth of experience in all aspects of wealth management and business development, will provide our regional wealth management team with additional strength and focus."

In addition to helping land new business, Peters will manage First Horizon's 20-person regional wealth-management team to offer brokerage, financial-planning, insurance and trust services to affluent clients.

Peters most recently served as First Charter's wealth-management division executive, a business unit she helped to found.
