Irvine, CA-headquartered First Foundation, which recently became listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange, has brought in Tyler Resh as director of marketing and strategy.

Resh was latterly a partner at Echelon Partners, an investment bank and consulting firm focused on the wealth and investment management industries.

He has a strong background in marketing M&A deals, conducting valuations and providing strategic consulting, First Foundation said. He also has over 14 years of experience advising wealth and investment managers on strategic growth strategies.

First Foundation provides investment management, wealth planning, consulting, trust and banking services.

As of September 30, 2014, First Foundation Advisors has $3.2 billion assets under management, while First Foundation Bank has $1.3 billion in total assets.

Besides its headquarters, the firm has offices in Newport Beach, Pasadena, West Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Desert and the Imperial Valley in California, and Las Vegas, NV.
