Financial Trust Asset Management Names President, Co-CIO

The Florida-based investment manager has welcomed a former Franklin Templeton executive to its team.

Financial Trust Asset Management, based in Boca Raton, Florida, has hired Rick McCall as managing partner, president and co-chief investment officer. 

McCall joins after 18 years with Franklin Templeton Investments where was most recently president and director, Franklin Templeton Separately Managed Accounts and CIO, Templeton Separately Managed Accounts. There, he specialized in managing equity strategies. He has over 30 years of experience in the investment management industry.

Arno Mayer, founder and chief executive of the firm, is the other co-CIO.

“Rick brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to FTAM. We look forward to leveraging his fundamental, value-oriented equity expertise in continuing to deliver compelling investment solutions for our clients,” said Mayer.

The firm, which was founded in 1989, provides active, passive and smart beta strategies to private clients and institutions.
