Fifth Third Promotes Chief Investment Officer

New York-listed Fifth Third Bank has promoted Jonathan Reynolds to chief investment officer for Fifth Third Investment Advisors, which manages $22 billion in assets.
Reynolds has been at Fifth Third for over seven years and has been managing director of the firm's investment management group since 2009.
As CIO, Reynolds will oversee the investment strategy for Fifth Third Private Bank and the institutional services group, while managing the bank’s team of portfolio managers, who are responsible for developing portfolio strategies for individual and institutional clients. He also retains his role as managing director of the investment management group.
In other recent developments, in August Martin de St Pierre was appointed as wealth management advisor for the South Florida affiliate, based in Naples. Earlier, in June, the firm strengthened its private banking team with the addition of Cody Tellis as president and wealth management advisor to cover the Bowling Green, KY, and Nashville, TN, markets.
Fifth Third is headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. As of end-September, it had $300 billion in assets under care, of which it managed $26 billion for individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations.
