Fifth Third Makes UHNW, Private Banking Appointment

Fifth Third has made two senior moves at both its private banking and ultra high net worth business.

Ohio-based Fifth Third Bancorp has hired Reuben Rashty as a senior vice president and managing director at its private bank in Michigan, as well as executive director at Mirador Family Wealth Advisors, the firm's UHNW business.

Meanwhile, Glen Johnson, managing director at Mirador and one of its founders, will take on a new leadership role within Fifth Third's wealth and asset management division, providing wealth management services to commercial clients.

Rashty will report to Phil McHugh, executive vice president and head of Fifth Third Wealth and Asset Management. He joins from JP Morgan Private Bank, where he was market manager in Michigan.
