Fiduciary Trust International Adds Trust Counsel In NY
The firm has added a number of people to its New York office in recent months.
Fiduciary Trust International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, has appointed Erica B Landeros as trust counsel in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to this, Landeros worked at Bank of America Private Bank in New York, where she was managing director and regional fiduciary advisor in the office of the chief fiduciary. Before this, Landeros (formerly Slezak) was in private practice as a high net worth estate planning and administration attorney for over two decades. The foundation of her career was formed in the private clients group of White & Case LLP and personal representation department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, both in New York, before moving her practice to Nassau County.
Landeros earned her juris doctor, cum laude from St John’s University School of Law, where she was a member of the law review, and a bachelor of arts in English from Fordham University. She is a member of numerous committees of the Trusts and Estates section of the New York State Bar Association and a long-time participant in the Surrogate Decision-Making Committee program of the New York State Justice Center for People with Special Needs.
Fiduciary Trust International has added several professionals to its New York office. In May 2024, Edward J Mooney joined the firm as its New York-based managing director and financial planning director. Kenneth J Kito, also came aboard as a New York-based wealth director in October 2023. In addition, Christina C D’Elia joined Fiduciary Trust International as trust counsel in the New York office in August 2023.
The firm, which has more than $102 billion in assets under management and administration as of March 31, 2024, is based in New York, with offices across the US.
