The New York-headquartered wealth management firm has welcomed a Glenmede Trust executive to its team.

Fiduciary Trust Company International has hired Steve Brandfield as managing director and business development officer.

Brandfield brings over 20 years' experience serving wealthy individuals, having most recently served as managing director at Glenmede Trust Company. He previously held senior positions at Bessemer Trust Company and UBS's private banking arm. He will be based in New York.

His appointment follows that of Michael Cabanas, who joined Fiduciary Trust International of the South last week as head of relationship development. 

“Steve has extensive experience in investment management, which will be valuable to Fiduciary Trust and our clients,” said Larry Sternkopf, president and chief operating officer. “His addition reflects our long-term commitment to clients and their complex wealth management needs.”

Fiduciary Trust Company International had over $75 billion in assets under administration and management as of the end of 2015. The firm provides wealth planning, investment management and trust and estate services, as well as tax and custody services.
