Family Office Exchange Hires COO For Digital Initiative

Family Office Exchange has hired a chief operating officer to oversee daily operations and guide deployment of advanced digital systems that deliver FOX’s knowledge to members in new ways, as FOX continues its development on a number of fronts.
Thomas Reilly joins Fox from Omnium where he was director of training and development. Omnium is a division of Citadel Investment Group that provides outsourced back office technology services to hedge funds.
"Tom brings to FOX a wealth of entrepreneurial, operations, learning and knowledge systems experience," Sara Hamilton, founder and ceo said in a statement. "He will help us improve the usefulness of our 21 years of knowledge and experience in working with sophisticated individuals and families around the world. FOX members will have around-the-clock access to answers they cannot get anywhere else about family wealth management." Reilly reports to Hamilton.
As reported back in June this year, Family Office Exchange wants to expand beyond just families. Its president, John Benevides, told this publication in an interview that it is focusing more on wealthy individuals who do not have a family office. He said that FOX’s move to “transmitting the breadth of our knowledge to a broader market,” will include an increased presence abroad and in New York City.
FOX has more than 500 members in 22 countries.
