Ex-Cumberland Private Wealth CIO Joins Sprott Asset Management

John Wilson, who recently left his role as chief investment officer of Cumberland Private Wealth Management, has joined
Sprott Asset Management as a senior portfolio manager.

Wilson is expected to launch new investment products at Canada-based Sprott over the coming months, including core Canadian equity and core balanced mandates, for which he will serve as lead manager.

"Our clients have been requesting that we offer products in these areas and we are confident that these strategies will be an ideal complement to our existing high-conviction funds," said Peter Grosskopf, chief executive of Sprott Inc, the parent firm of the asset manager.

Before serving as CIO of Cumberland, Wilson was the founder of DDX Capital Partners, an alternative investment manager.
