Evercore Completes Morse Williams Acquisition
Evercore Wealth Management has completed its acquisition of Morse, Williams and Company. Morse Williams manages approximately $190 million for individual clients, families and related institutions.
In a related transaction, Evercore WM also completed the acquisition of The Wall Street Fund, a $12 million mutual fund. Evercore WM partners Robert Morse and Tim Evnin will co-manage the fund.
The Wall Street Fund was launched in 1945 with the primary objective of capital growth.
Evercore WM is a subsidiary of Evercore Partners serving high net worth individuals, families and related institutions via offices in New York and San Francisco. It managed client assets totaling $1.7 billion at 31 March 2010.
