Elian Boosts Real Estate Arm

The provider of corporate, fund and private wealth services has made a senior appointment in Jersey.

Elian has appointed Tim Daniels as an associate director within its real estate division.

Daniels joined Elian, formerly Ogier, in 2008 as a programme director to manage the company’s commercial property portfolio across a number of international jurisdictions. He previously spent 24 years in the Royal Marines.

Based in Jersey, Daniels will be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of real estate structures and will act as director to a number of real estate clients. He brings specific experience in real estate management, governance and oversight to the role.

“Tim's fresh perspective and wide range of skills will strengthen our real estate client offering. Our team continues to grow and I'm delighted that Tim will be joining us,” said Jon Barratt, head of real estate at Elian.

Elian, which is in the process of being sold to trust and corporate services provider Intertrust, recently appointed Kristian Walton as its new group risk and compliance director. The firm's clients include law firms and accountancy firms, financial institutions, high net worth individuals, family offices and fund managers.
