Global business advisory firm EisnerAmper, which operates in areas including private work, has brought in Los Angeles-area CPA firm KROST into its embrace. The financial terms of the combination, which is scheduled to close in September, were not disclosed.

Founded in 1939, KROST has eight partners and a staff of more than 100 professionals across offices in Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, and Pasadena, California. 

KROST provides accounting, tax, and business consulting for the hospitality, technology, financial services, manufacturing, real estate, sports and entertainment, nonprofit, and other sectors.

“To stay relevant and, more importantly, to continue to provide a wide array of evolving services to our clients, we need the additional expertise and capital that a firm like EisnerAmper can provide,” Paren Knadjian, principal, M&A and capital markets, at KROST, said.

Earlier in August, Eisner Advisory Group, the business consulting firm that is headquartered in New York and part of EisnerAmper, admitted 23 new partners as of August 1. Among the new admissions, several were in areas touching on private client, investment and tax work.
