The asset management arm of Swiss private banking group Edmond de Rothschild has bolstered its offering in the UK.

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has registered 16 sub-funds for sale in the UK.

The funds, available through the Edmond de Rothschild Fund UCITS umbrella domiciled in Luxembourg, cover a range of specialties including European and global equities, thematic funds, convertible bonds and emerging market bonds.

Those that have already attracted significant assets under management include the €1.1 billion ($1.2 billion) EdR Fund – Europe Synergy, EdR Fund – US Value & Yield (€1.2 billion) and EdR Fund – Europe Convertibles (€900 million).

The other sub-funds are: EdR Fund - Europe Value & Yield, EdR Fund - Global Convertibles, EdR Fund - Europe Flexible, EdR Fund - Global Convexity, EdR Fund - Global Value, EdR Fund - Emerging Bonds, EdR Fund - Global Emerging, EdR Fund - Emerging Corporate Bonds, EdR Fund - Global Healthcare, EdR Fund - Signatures Euro High Yield, EdR Fund – Premiumsphere and EdR Fund – Infrasphere EdR Fund – China.

“The registration of many funds in the UK is a key milestone in our expansion plans into this crucial market”, said Guillaume Poli, deputy CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (France). “This represents an important step in the development of our business in the UK and supports growth”, he added. 

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, which opened its London office in 2012, had €54 billion under management as of the end of 2015, up from €46.6 billion a year prior.
