Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, a subsidiary of La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild, has appointed Patrick Péris as deputy managing director, in charge of development.

In this role he will be responsible for all sales, marketing and client service teams both in France and abroad.

Péris joined the firm from Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, where he was a managing director and in charge of equities in Paris; prior to this he was head of equity sales at Morgan Stanley.

In other recent developments at the firm, last month it hired Lavin Mok, formerly managing director at Tremont Capital, as head of Asia sales.
