EXCLUSIVE: VP Bank Hires Three More Lieutenants In Singapore

VP Bank, the Liechtenstein-based private bank, has added another three senior bankers to its ranks in Singapore, WealthBriefingAsia can exclusively reveal.

Matthew Tay has joined VP Bank Singapore from HSBC Private Bank, as market head Indo-China.

Chua Eng Leong and Michael Bheem have joined from Swiss wealth manager Julius Baer. Eng Leong is market head Singapore and Bheem reports to Eng Leong.

They will be rejoining their former boss, Ian Irvine Pollock who started earlier this year as chief executive of its Singapore base and head of wealth management in Hong Kong.  He left Julius Baer late last year after two years as jointly running the roles of chief financial officer for Asia and chief operating officer for North Asia.

Pollock was mandated to grow the Asian business for the Vaduz-headquartered bank, which in March recruited Patrick Donaldson, a former Barclays private banker, as executive director and senior relationship manager, based in Singapore.

In April Reto Isenring started in the newly-created function of chief operating officer and deputy CEO. He was previously interim CEO of the bank's Singapore branch pending Pollock's appointment.
