ERI, supplier of the OLYMPIC Banking System, has announced that Banco Itau Europa International, located in Miami, Florida, have successfully converted the business that used to be BankBoston in Miami (which was acquired by Banco Itau in 2007) from the Globus application on which the business had been running to their OLYMPIC Banking System platform.

The conversion of the data will allow Banco Itau Europa International, to have its core banking data and transactions on a single integrated system – the OLYMPIC Banking System.

According to ERI, this will allow the delivery of the top quality service that the bank provides to its clients, as well as helping Banco Itau manage its IT and processing costs whilst continuing to provide a wide range of products and services to its international customer base.

The conversion of data from Globus to the OLYMPIC Banking System came after a review of both applications by Banco Itau, which led to a decision to concentrate their processing on the OLYMPIC Banking System.

ERI employs more than 530 staff. Around 280 banks and financial institutions across 35 countries currently use the OLYMPIC Banking System.
