Double Hire At Wilmington Trust's Family Wealth Group

The pair will be welcomed in to the Wilmington Trust Center in Wilmington, DE.

The integrated family wealth group at Wilmington Trust is set for expansion as the firm welcomes in two senior wealth managers.

Both joining in the eponymous Delaware town, Michele Ahwash and David Ford will take on the role of senior relationship managers, providing wealth management advice to high net worth individuals, families, business owners and foundations, the firm said in a statement.

Wilmington Trust confirmed to this publication that these are newly-created roles.

Ahwash previously served as a relationship manager at Tiedemann Trust Company, looking after ultra-high net worth clients, and also was a trust officer at Bryn Mawr Trust Company earlier in her career.

Ford moves from business consultancy firm Strategy House, where he most recently served as principal.

Ahwash’s and Ford’s hires follow a string of appointments made to Wilmington Trust’s fiduciary tax department last month in response to client demand for trust and estate tax services (see more here).
