Digital wealth management firm Wealthfront has teamed up with financial planning start-up, Grove, using the latter firm’s capabilities to bolster its efforts to deliver Self-Driving Money™.

With the Self-Driving Money™ offering, a client can deposit a paycheck into Wealthfront and technology takes care of tasks such as paying bills, making sure the right amount of money is in an emergency fund, and that the client contributes to the most appropriate investment accounts which fit with their stated goals. 

Grove was founded in 2015 by Chris Hutchins and Chris Doyle.
