Texas-based tax-planning software provider Holistiplan has partnered with CRM Wealthbox® to make it easier for financial advisors to automate reviewing client’s tax returns and unearth planning opportunities.

Advisors using the Wealthbox platform will now be able to incorporate automatically generated tax planning information into the Holistiplan platform, which analyzes and passes relevant stats and observations back to Wealthbox in a streamlined process that also avoids double data entry.

The firm said the partnership should boost efficiency, enabling advisors to deliver “richer financial planning to more clients.”

Its algorithmic program uses optical character recognition to read uploaded tax returns and generate client-ready reports that can uncover financial planning leads.
