eVestment, an institutional investment data and analytics firm, has enhanced the offerings of Style Analytics, which provides factor-based analysis software. The new offering is called Peer Insights.

Peer Insights is aimed at buy-side clients. It offers factor-by-factor comparisons between individual funds or peer groups so that users can identify underlying exposures to sectors, countries and risk to make superior investment choices.

“Factor investing” is a strategy that chooses securities on attributes that are associated with higher returns, such as value, momentum and yield.
