Voya
Financial, an investment firm, has launched its
WealthPath platform.
In December, Voya said it was going to build the platform, targeting planning for retirement or managing wealth outside workplace plans.
Voya collaborated with fintech business Orion to build the platform. The offering integrates financial planning, investment strategy execution, portfolio review and relationship management.
“WealthPath represents a significant commitment to our advisors and the clients we serve to provide world-class guided financial planning and investment solutions,” John Brett, president, wealth management at Voya Financial, said.
Advisors in Voya’s Retirement Advisor Distribution (RAD) system and employee advisors in its Investor Channel will be among the first to use the platform’s technology.
Voya said its own research showed that almost half (48 per cent) of employed Americans would be more likely to stay if their employer offered them access to a professional advisor for help in managing their savings and investments. Voya, through its businesses, serves about 15 million customers. (Voya polled 1,005 adults in the US from August 5 to 6).
