Addepar, a wealth, investment and asset management tech and data platform, has bought Arcus, an AI technology firm.

The acquisition of Arcus brings expertise in AI workflows, Addepar said in a statement this week.

Over the past 15 years, Addepar has developed a technology platform that consolidates and unifies data. It aggregates portfolio, market and client data for more than $7 trillion in assets. The firm will increasingly use AI in the next stage of business growth, it said.

β€œThe acquisition of Arcus is a leap forward in our AI strategy, embedding adaptive intelligence into the platform,” Bob Pisani, chief technology officer at Addepar, said.

Addepar has offices in Silicon Valley, New York City, Salt Lake City, Chicago, London, Edinburgh, Pune and Dubai.

The firm is scheduled to set out its tech changes at AddeConf25, its annual technology and innovation conference, taking place in New York City on May 21.
