Deutsche Bank US Names New Eastern Private Bank Head

Deutsche Bank has made Chip Packard its head of private bank
activities in
New York,
Boston,
Chicago and
Florida, replacing Kyle Delaney.
Mr Packard will report to Tom Bowers, head of the
US private wealth management division and continue to serve on
the
US private wealth management executive committee. His
appointment came into effect on 1 January and he is based in
New York.
This is an internal hire, as Mr Packard joined Deutsche Bank in 2006. Since then he has successfully expanded the private bank’s partnership with Deutsche Bank's global banking and global markets divisions.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he was responsible for managing
all interactions between Credit Suisse's investment banking and
private banking divisions in the
Americas. Chip also helped develop Credit Suisse's family
office and ultra high net worth client segment strategies in
the
US and oversaw the concentrated equity product
platform.
Mr Delaney remains with the bank working for DB Advisors, Deutsche Bank’s institutional asset management business.
