Deutsche Asset Management Names Chief Investment Strategist, Head Of US Equities

In his new roles, Bianco will be based in New York.
Deutsche Asset Management has appointed David Bianco as chief investment strategist for the Americas and head of US equities, a newly-created role.
Bianco has more than 20 years of investment research experience and a decade of experience as an equity strategist. Since 2012, he has been Deutsche Asset Management's US equity strategist.
Prior to joining the Frankfurt-headquartered firm, he was head US equity strategist for Bank of America Merrill Lynch's investment research and and global wealth management arms. Earlier in his career, Bianco also spent seven years with UBS.
In his new roles, he will assist clients with portfolio constructions across Deutsche Asset Management's rang of investment vehicles and asset classes. Additionally, Bianco will lead a team of investors responsible for the management of the active equity assets in the Americas. Based in New York, he will report globally to Stefan Kreuzkamp, chief investment officer and head of active asset management, and regionally to Bob Kendall, head of Deutsche Asset Management Americas.
“David is a well-respected and familiar face within our industry and will be a key public figure for us in presenting to our clients Deutsche Asset Management’s global views on markets, economies and policies,” said Kendall.
