Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Adds To ETP Business On East Coast

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management has appointed four regional vice presidents to support its US exchange-traded products platform on the East Coast. The team reports to Mick McLaughlin, head of passive distribution in the Americas.

Theresa Brennan covers the Northeast. Based in Boston, MA, Brennan has nearly 20 years of industry experience and was most recently a business development executive at NT Flexshares. Steve Darby covers the greater New York area. Darby is based in New York and brings over 15 years of experience. Most recently, he was a business development manager for the ETF business at Russell Investments.
Gavin McIntire covers the Mid-Atlantic segment. Prior to Deutsche AWM, McIntire spent ten years at ProShares Advisors, where he was a regional VP. Tim Whelan covers the Southeast. Previously, Whelan was an investment management consultant for BlackRock’s iShares platform.
This summer, Deutsche Bank announced that it had hired seven ETF regional VPs to cover the West Coast and Mid-West territories.
Deutsche AWM has recently launched several products, including what it says is the first US ETF to provide broad access to the available Chinese equity market, Deutsche X-trackers Harvest MSCI All China Equity Fund. Deutsche AWM’s US ETP platform includes 65 ETPs, with approximately $11 billion in assets under management.
