Deutsche Adds Private Bankers In US, Latin America

The bank said it intends to continue recruiting RMs and product specialists in the US.

Deutsche Bank’s international private bank in the Americas has appointed seven new bankers serving US and Latin American clients.

“The business will continue to execute on what it does best across the business and will look to recruit experienced relationship managers and product specialists in New York, the West Coast and Florida to help its clients,” Deutsche Bank said.

New York:
Chris Zias, managing director, private banker is joining from Bank of America Private Bank; 
Jeremy Levine, director, private banker joined from Bank of America; 
Jay Yost,director, private banker is joining from Citibank; and 
Lindsay McCracken, vice president, private banker, is joining from Bank of America Private Bank. 

San Francisco:
Rahul Varshneya, director, private banker, is joining from Bank of America. 

Latin America:
Guilherme Faria Gradel, director, private banker joined the Brazil team from Goldman Sachs Wealth Management; and 
Chris Roca, director, private banker covering the Mexican UHNW market is joining from Citi.  

Arjun Nagarkatti was made head of the IPB - Americas in January 2021. He joined the German bank in the UK as an analyst in Credit Risk Management in 2003 and has worked in a variety of business-critical roles in London and Singapore, including global chief risk officer for wealth management from 2017 to 2019. In January 2020, Nagarkatti took over as global head of lending for wealth management, now the international private bank, where he was an IPB executive committee member and responsible for the division’s lending portfolio worldwide with a global team in multiple locations including the Americas.
