Desktop technology provider adds CRM integration

Link between eMoney and Redtail leads to time-saving front-office product. eMoney Advisor has integrated Redtail's web-based CRM system with its 360 and 360 Pro front-office ASP. This is meant to help advisors access to synchronized client data through a single sign-on and provide upload capabilities for eMoney's online document storage feature, according to the firms.

"Advisors need increased data integration among their advisory tools," says eMoney's founder and CEO Edmond Walters. "The integration of eMoney 360 and eMoney 360Pro with Redtail CRM is going to significantly reduce redundancies in data management for Advisors."

Redtail CRM is the first advisory tool to participate in eMoney's new eMoney Everywhere program, which integrates CRM, wireless, office and advisor tools with eMoney applications "to create the ultimate advisor desktop," according to an eMoney press release.

In addition to providing CRM technology, Gold River Calif.-based Redtail provides document-imaging systems and email retention services. Its clients include independent financial professionals and more than 40 independent broker-dealers.

Conshohocken, Pa.-based eMoney is a subsidiary of TD Bank, the U.S. commercial- and retail-banking affiliate of Toronto-based TD Bank Financial. Among its institutional clients are Northern Trust, LPL Financial, AIG Advisor Group and MassMutual (which owned a chunk of the firm before Cherry Hill, N.J.-based Commerce Bancorp, now part of TD Bank, acquired eMoney early in 2006). -FWR
