Deals Of The Day - The Latest In Wealth Managment M&A: Cerity Partners, Worldview

The latest wealth management transactions in North America.
Cerity Partners, the US wealth management house, has acquired San Francisco-based Worldview Wealth Advisors, a firm with about $150 million in client assets under management and five staff. Cerity, by contrast, oversees more than $25 billion and has more than 250 employees.
As a result of the change, the sole owner of Worldview, Andrew Fisher, has become a partner and shareholder in Cerity Partners.
Worldview’s team will bring cross-border financial planning expertise to the entire organization.
Among recent developments, Cerity Partners said that it had appointed Steve Williams as its new chief client officer. He is based in Costa Mesa, California, and reports to chief executive Kurt Miscinski.
Prior to this role, he was president of Cantor Fitzgerald Capital, an institutional alternative asset management firm, where he was responsible for leading business development, creating corporate strategy, driving revenue growth, and managing relationships with RIAs, family offices and custodians. Williams began his career as a private banker at JP Morgan.
