Atria
Wealth Solutions, a wealth management solutions holding
company, has agreed to acquire SCF Securities, a firm based in
Fresno, California.
SCF was founded in 1992 and serves about 150 independent financial professionals. Upon closing, Atria's subsidiaries in total will represent over 2,500 financial professionals with nearly $95 billion in assets under administration.
Citing figures from Cerulli Associates, Atria said that its subsidiaries are the fastest-growing US broker-dealers in year-over-year growth by number of financial professionals and second fastest in asset growth.
Following the SCF deal, Atria said that its subsidiaries’ focus on growth will continue in fee-based assets under administration.
SCF will become the sixth broker-dealer acquired by Atria since 2017, joining Western International Securities, NEXT Financial Group, Cadaret, Grant & Co, CUSO Financial Services, and Sorrento Pacific Financial, as an Atria subsidiary.
Atria will acquire all of SCF Securities, SCF Investment Advisors, and SCF Marketing. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2021 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
