WealthReach, AdvisorRankings
WealthReach, an
AI-powered growth platform for RIAs and wealth management firms,
announced recently that it has acquired AdvisorRankings, a search
engine optimization and AI search optimization agency.
AdvisorRankings only works with financial advisors.
The acquired business, founded in 2010, will continue to operate as a separate brand under the WealthReach umbrella. Its founder, Brent Carnduff, will lead business development for the combined firm and contribute to WealthReach's search engine optimization and AI search product roadmap, WealthReach said in a statement.
The deal highlights a crucial business area of advisors using technology to build a pipeline of prospective clients and become more visible in online searches. They are in a battle to attract eyes on screens.
AdvisorRankings concentrates on helping advisory firms appear in search results, initially on Google and increasingly on AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT. Perplexity/WealthReach wants to pair AdvisorRankings' search expertise with its existing products, including Living Sites, an advisor website tool, and its Attract, Convert and Multiply organic growth engines.
The acquisition comes after WealthReach held a $1 million seed fundraising round and formed a strategic advisory board earlier this year. The firm also acquired the intellectual property of Model FA to build out a consulting practice.
