Sequoia
Financial Group, with $34.9 billion in assets under
management, has continued its spate of acquisitions with the
purchase of BSW Wealth
Partners (BSW), a Colorado-based wealth management firm with
about $2.3 billion in client assets. The terms of the transaction
were not disclosed.
Warner Norcross + Judd LLP served as BSW's legal advisor, while Hue Partners provided consulting and strategic guidance.
Founded in 1992, BSW serves a national client base from offices in Boulder and Denver. The firm provides financial planning and customized wealth management to individuals and families nationally.
"We highly value the bonds BSW has built with clients over the decades and the culture of its talented team," said Tom Haught, chairman and CEO of Sequoia Financial. "We are pleased to welcome them to the Sequoia Financial family as we expand our presence in Colorado."
"The incredible alignment of BSW's ethos to Make Life Better and Sequoia's vision of Enriching Lives also extended across our firms' cultures, clients, and capabilities,” David Wolf, CEO of BSW, added. “United, we can better serve families for generations, create exciting career opportunities for our team, and broaden our impact in Boulder, Denver, and throughout the Mountain West."
In August, Sequoia Financial acquired All Star Financial, a Twin Cities-based wealth manager with $1.3 billion in client assets under management and advisement as of June 30, 2026. These acquisitions continue Sequoia Financial's strategy of combining steady organic growth with selective acquisitions that extend its national reach and add specialized capabilities. Sequoia Financial now supports about 11,000 client households from 43 offices, with clients in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
